The method
Two tools. Same photograph.
Flixuvo does not generate the video. You do, inside Google Flow or Grok, from a picture you already took. The pages here are the order of work so the first credit is not a guess.
One prompt, from the photo you took
A video prompt makes the clip. A photo prompt makes a still. They do not depend on each other. Never save a generated picture and upload it to make the video.
1. Video
Upload the photo you already took and paste the video words. If the idea changes the place, Flow uses Ingredients and Grok uses Reference, so the photo guides the subject and the prompt builds the clip.
2. Photo, only if you want a still
Start again from the same original photo. Paste the photo words. Stop there.
Flow and Grok, side by side
| Google Flow | Grok | |
|---|---|---|
| Open | flow.google.com, then + New project | Imagine tab on grok.com or in the app |
| A new place, as a video | Video, then Ingredients. Upload the photo you took | Upload the photo and set it as a Reference |
| The photo already looks right | Video, then Frames. Photo on + Add start frame | Upload the photo, then tap the video icon |
| A still, if you want one | Image, then upload the photo you took | Images, then upload the photo you took |
| What to paste | One prompt. It is the whole clip or the whole still | The same. Do not chain a picture into a video |
Open Flow or Grok Imagine. Both need their own account, and both charge credits for a generation.
Posting it
Export vertical if you can. On Instagram or WhatsApp, show the original photo for about a second, then the clip. People share the transformation, not the prompt. Each scenario page has a caption you can copy.
What we are not promising
- A perfect likeness. Fur, badges and lettering move.
- A long story. Plan on about six seconds.
- People, for now. Faces are the least reliable subject, and consent is not optional.
- That yesterday’s button names will match tomorrow. The order of work will.
